Discipleship. My guess is the word immediately takes you to thoughts of imparting a Chrisitan worldview and biblical doctrine for life and holiness into the sheep of your flock. Let’s flip that and consider you, the shepherd, as a disciple. Yes. You’re growing in your faith, working out your salvation in the sanctification process, but have you stopped to think about you as a disciple? What does that mean? Could it imply that you don’t have as much to give in discipleship as you have to learn? What implications might that have?
